HINDU SAMAJ JAGARAN MANCHA LAUNCHES 12-HOUR BALANGIR BANDH
Balangir (03/08/2023): The members of Hindu Samaj Jagaran Mancha launched a 12-hour bandh in Balangir district protesting installation of the statue of former Chief Minister Biju Patnaik at Patnagarh.
The BJP, Congress, Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have extended their support to the bandh. The protestors demand installation of photo picture of Parsuram instead of the statue of former CM Biju Patnaik. Most shops and other business establishments remained closed in the district.
