ICSI BHUBANESWAR ORGANISED ICSI TEACHERS' CONFERENCE
Bhubaneswar(10/09/2023): The ICSI is observing Teachers’ Week in the month September, 2023 and as part of the Teachers’ Week a Teachers’ Conference on “Empowering Educators” was organised by the Bhubaneswar Chapter on Sunday in Bhubaneswar.
While delivering the inaugural address as the Chief Guest of the inaugural session, Prof.(Dr.) P P Mathur, Vice Chancellor, Birla Global University Odisha said that Teachers are necessary for the society and has a greater responsibility.
He also talked about integrity, high ethical standards to be inculcated in a teacher and a Teacher should be a role model for the students.
Prof.(Dr.) Ranjan Kumar Bal, Vice Chancellor, ASBM University addressed the conference as Guest of Honour and said that students expect a lot from the teachers and Teachers should come forward to help the students.
A teacher should appreciate the students and he demonstrate as a leader in teaching and encourage the students to work in team In the Technical Sessions of the Conference Prof.(Dr.) B R Sharma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Sri Sri University addressed on “Stress Management through Yoga”.
Prof.(Dr.) D V Ramana, Professor of Accounting, Xavier Institute of Management talked about Teachers Skills.
Other dignitaries addressed during the conference CS Soumya Sujit Mishra, Chairman, EIRC of the ICSI, CS Bimal Prasad Pattanaik, Chairman, Bhubaneswar Chapter, Prof.(Dr.) S R Mohapatra, Dean, Management, BPUT, Dr.P K Mohanty, Dean School of Commerce, XIM University also spoke on the occasion A large number of Teachers and Professors from different Senior Secondary Schools/Colleges / Universities and Educational Institutions of Odisha had attended the conference.
