NOCCi's 52nd Facebook Poetry Session held : Poets Pay Tribute to the Deceased in Pahalgam Attack

Balasore, 28/4:(Krushna Kumar Mohanty) After the tragic death of 28 tourists in a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir, the entire nation is shrouded in mourning. Various tributes have been paid for the departed souls across different regions. During this time, the 52nd Facebook Poetry Session organized by NOCCi Cultural Academy saw poets offering their heartfelt tributes through their own compositions.

The session, conducted under the leadership of Academy's chief guide Shilpi Kesudas, featured notable poets including Prabhakar Sahu, Praveer Kumar Kamila, Jharana Mallik, Jayanta Hansaraj, Ranjit Behera, and Tapas Sahu, who presented their poetry as a tribute to the victims. Renowned vocal artists, including Jeevan Mahapatra, Kumar Atanu, Kumar Ekadashi, and Praveer Kumar Kamila, performed poignant songs of mourning. Additionally, the dancer Durgeshwari Singh performed a soulful dance, while Prashant Behera delivered a vote of thanks.
