PM MODI LAYS FOUNDATION STONE & INAUGURATES RAILWAY PROJECTS OF RS 2320 CRORE IN ODISHA
New Delhi (26/02/2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi PM Modi laid foundation stone for redevelopment of 554 railway stations under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and 1500 Road Over Bridges/Road Under Bridges over Indian Railways via video conferencing on Monday. The initiatives include foundation stone laying and inauguration of railway projects of Rs 2320 crore in Odisha. The Prime Minister laid foundation stone for redevelopment of 21 stations in Odisha with an investment of Rs 900 crore under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. These stations are Bimlagarh, Panposh, Jaroli, Rairangpur, Balasore, Betnoti, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda Road, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Rayagada, Paralakhemundi, Koraput, Jeypore, Talcher, Raghunathpur, Paradip, Kendujhargarh, Bhadrak, Belpahar and Brajarajnagar. A total of 57 stations will be developed in Odisha under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme with an investment of Rs 3286 crore. The PM also inaugurated and laid foundation stone for 52 road over bridges and road under bridges with a project cost of Rs 1420 crore.
