Puri to host “Shree Jagannath consciousness and cultural awakening” Program on March 14


Puri(ByAbhishek Mohanty): The Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan will organize a major spiritual and cultural event titled “Shree Jagannath Consciousness and Cultural Awakening” on March 14, 2026, at the Sadashiva Campus of Central Sanskrit University, Puri. 

The program aims to promote the teachings and consciousness of Lord Jagannath across Odisha and beyond.

The event will begin with ceremonial offerings at the sacred feet of Lord Jagannath, the Emperor of Utkal, and will feature devotional discourses, bhajans, and cultural performances. The organizers hope to awaken spiritual consciousness and celebrate Odisha’s rich heritage.
Following Puri, similar programs are planned across India:
On March 23–24, the programme will take place at Bulan Bhai Mandap in Bhubaneswar. 
On April 6–7 the event will be held at Haridwar, during the Shree Jagannath Temple establishment ceremony. 

On April 9–12, similar programme will take place at Paragpur Jagannath Temple, Himachal Pradesh.

The event will also see the release of two publications: “Shree Jagannath Sourabh Sambhar” (Odia) and “Bhakt Bhagwan” (Hindi). Individuals contributing to the promotion of Jagannath culture will be honored with the Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Rakshak Samman.

Organizers, including Dr. Narayan Mohapatra and Umanath Mishra, extended a cordial invitation to devotees nationwide, emphasizing that the program is a celebration of devotion, culture, and spiritual awakening.
