Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Seva Prayas Foundation will organise the “SPF Kalinga Veerangana Cricket League for Women” alongside its Women’s Day Celebration 2026 from March 6 to 8, marking International Women’s Day.
The three-day event aims to promote women’s empowerment, confidence, and active participation in sports, social, and cultural activities.
All programmes will be held at the Hi-Tech Medical College Cricket Ground in Bhubaneswar.
On March 6, knockout and final matches for girl students will be held, followed by matches among social organisations on March 7.
The celebrations will culminate on March 8 with the SPF Women’s Car Rally 2026, flagged off at 7:50 am from Aditya Motors–Mahindra, covering a 10 km route across the city before returning to the cricket ground. The day will also feature the cricket league finale with notable women cricketers from Odisha, along with cultural performances, prize distribution, and a felicitation ceremony.
