30 bikes gutted in fire at Konark

Konark(By Abhishek Mohanty): A major fire broke out at a battery bike showroom near Madhipur Chhak in Konark of Puri district on Wednesday.

Around 30 bikes were completely gutted in the the fire that may have been caused by a battery explosion inside the showroom.

Three fire tenders rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames after several hours of effort.

Fortunately, all employees and customers present inside the showroom escaped unhurt.
