Odisha government to generate 75000 jobs within two years: CM
Bhubaneswar (27/12/2024): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi on Friday announced that the state government has decided to create 75,000 jobs in various sectors within two years.
The Chief Minister said, "The plan includes filling 20,000 vacant teaching positions." Highlighting that there is lack of basic infrastructure in many villages across the state, the CM said several committees are yet to receive essential services like water supply, while some schools function with only one teacher or none at all.
Keeping these view, the recruitment of additional teachers , alongside the employment drive in other sectors, is seen as an important step to increase standards and provide job opportunities to youths.
