Senior writer and Supreme Court Advocate hold discussion on environmental issues in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Advocate from Odisha Dr Lingaraj Sahoo presented a book from Anti‑Corruption Interagency Committee to Supreme Court Advocate Anirudh Sharma.
When Sharma visited Odisha, Dr. Lingaraj Sahoo, a member of the Supreme Court Advocates’ Association, met him and discussed the history and culture of Odisha. He also held discussion on environmental issues in Odisha.
Anirudh Sharma is an Advocate at the Supreme Court of India. He trained under the legendary K. Parasaran, Senior Advocate and former Attorney General for India, a name that commands respect across the political spectrum.
He has handled a wide range of cases, including Constitutional, Commercial, and Criminal matters, with particular expertise in white-collar crimes, representing and advising both state and private parties.
In addition to his legal practice, he is an accomplished writer, regularly contributing articles and columns.
His latest book, published by Rupa, is titled Case For Ram: The Untold Insiders’ Story, which details the preparation and unfolding of the landmark Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute and the courtroom drama surrounding it.
His writings uniquely interweave culture, history, law, faith, storytelling, and modernity.
He is currently working on his first novel, which again aims to blend history and culture with modernity, set around the historic sites of Bodhgaya and Nalanda.
