SJTA's decision to apply for patent of terms related to Lord Jagannath's culture welcomed by Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The decision taken by Puri Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) to apply for patent of the terms related to Lord Jagannath's culture has been welcomed by the Shree Jagannath Sanskruti Prachar Sansthan.

The Sansthan has urged all institutions and devotees of Lord Jagannath to wholeheartedly accept this move.

The Srimandir administration, led by Gajapati Maharaja Dibya Singh Deb and Chief Administrator Dr. Arabinda Padhi, has announced plans to patent key terms associated with Lord Jagannath's culture, preventing others from using them without permission.

The organisation also reacted to the naming of a temple in Digha as "Jagannath Dham," stating that such a name is inappropriate and goes against the cultural significance of Lord Jagannath. The Gajapati Maharaja has proposed discussions with the Odisha and West Bengal governments to address this issue.

The Sansthan has emphasized the importance of respecting the cultural heritage and traditions associated with Lord Jagannath and has urged all stakeholders to come forward for working together to protect and promote the Mahaprabhu's legacy.
