Blood Donation Camp Organized by Highland Agro Food Pvt. Ltd. on Kargil Vijay Divas

Balasore | 26/07(Krushna Kumar Mohanty) – On the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas and in view of the recent shortage of blood in Balasore district’s blood bank, a voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Saturday by Highland Agro Food Private Limited at its company premises in Khantapada.
The camp was inaugurated by the company’s Chairman, Mr. Rabindra Kumar Jena, who encouraged the donors and remarked that the district is currently facing a severe shortage of blood. He emphasized that people from all walks of life should come forward to participate in this noble cause of blood donation. He appealed for collective efforts to overcome the crisis and ensure a steady blood supply for the district.
Dr. Basanta Kumar Upadhyay, officer-in-charge of the Balasore Blood Bank, attended the camp and appreciated Highland Agro’s humanitarian initiative.
A total of 78 units of blood were collected during the drive. Senior company officials including Sushanta Kumar Raut, Jayadev Nayar, Yajnadatta Tripathy, Subash Chandra Giri, Jagannath Nayak, Sneh Lata Pradhan, Stutikrishna Das, Rashmiranjan Mohanty, Balaram Jena, Bishal Das, Amiya Jena, Ashok Mohanty, Prashanta Jena, Smrutirekha Nayak, and Sitakanta Pandua played key roles in coordinating the event.
Company’s Managing Director, Mr. Pratik Jena, expressed his commitment to continue such noble initiatives at regular intervals in the future.
